The Daily Mason is a daily newspaper that appears in the ProtoMason world. New articles are posted after midnight and can be read by selecting the newspaper icon at the top of the game window.
Articles[ | ]
The Daily Mason articles can be influenced by events that happen in the world, namely medical news and death.
Random Articles[ | ]
Most Daily Mason articles cover random events from the ProtoMasons backstory, or about people and places that are meant to exist somewhere in the ProtoMason world (but generally cannot be visited or seen). Articles include (but are not limited to) stories about crime, alien shrimp, ghosts, and doomsday speculations.
Death Notices[ | ]
The Daily Mason will post a death notice a day after a player dies, sometimes with commentary from Dr. B. F. Melonface. The articles usually describe the deaths as "non-suspicious" and feature the name of the player who had died.
